When called on to be an after-dinner speaker or present motivational talks to girls and women’s groups, Jane’s favorite topic is “How do you get there – from here?” Growing up in Santa Fe, Jane’s only ambition was to “be the female Michael Michelangelo of the West.” After marrying and starting a family while still young, Jane struggled to complete her BFA and later went on to do graduate work in business and marketing. Jane was employed by the University of Arkansas to become the first director of the Genesis Business Incubator, her duties were to write a comprehensive incubator program, seek legislative funding and establish a first class, technology-based business incubator.All goals were achieved, and Genesis was named the number one incubator in the world by the NBIA.
